Book Synopsis:
Twisted Wishes lead guitarist Dominic “Domino” Bradley is an animal
onstage. But behind his tight leather pants and skull-crusher boots lies a
different man entirely, one who needs his stage persona not only to perform,
but to have the anonymity he craves. A self-imposed exile makes it impossible
to get close to anyone outside the band, so he’s forced to get his sexual fix
through a few hot nights with a stranger.
When computer programmer Adrian Doran meets Dominic, he’s drawn to the other
man’s quiet voice and shy smile. But after a few dirty, demanding nights
exploring Dominic’s need to be dominated, Adrian wants more than a casual
distraction. He has no idea he’s fallen for Domino Grinder—the outlandish,
larger-than-life rock god.
Dominic is reluctant to trust Adrian with his true identity. But when the
truth is revealed prematurely, Dominic is forced to reevaluate both his need
for Adrian and everything he believes about himself.

Excerpt: (NSFW)
Fingers traced his chin and caressed
his lips. “Fucking hell, babe,” Adrian murmured.
Dom knew from experience that this
wasn’t the end of the night. He didn’t expect Adrian to drop down to his knees,
though, to take Dom’s face between his hands and kiss him like he was the only
man in existence.
But that’s what Adrian did, and Dom
moaned into him, every nerve on fire.
Adrian wiped away the wetness on
Dom’s face. “I love tasting me on your tongue.”
“Fuck my face more often, then.” His
words were whispered and hoarse.
A deep rumble of amusement and a pat
on the cheek. “We’ve only had two nights.”
Felt like so much more. Everything
with Adrian was hot and fast, and yet somehow so slow and perfect, too. Like
now, when Adrian pulled him up from the floor and took him to the bed.
Adrian unclasped the cuffs from each
other. “Lie down on your back. I’m going to tie you to the headboard for a
little while. See what you think of that.”
Dom exhaled, a strange heat running
through his body that had nothing to do with the ache of his cock. “Yeah,
okay.”
Adrian took each arm and swung it up,
murmuring how Dom should move, how he needed to position his body. Gentle
voice, gentle touch. He was still in all his clothing, too.
“Wanna see you naked,” Dom said.
Everything was heady and light again.
Adrian smiled and touched his face.
“Do you?”
“Yeah. I mean, if you want? ’Cause I
guess I’m not supposed to demand anything, am I?”
He couldn’t even name the emotions
that flickered over Adrian’s features, but there was such a weight to them, and
in his gravelly voice. “You, Dominic, can always ask me for anything you wish.”
What he wished. He wanted everything.
This moment. Wednesday. Whatever happened tomorrow. He wanted the band and
Domino. He wanted Adrian to make the world go away so only Dom existed. Dom and
Adrian.
“I’m in way over my head.”
“Shh.” Adrian’s brow furrowed. “So am
I.”
Dom closed his eyes. Oh fucking hell.
He was gonna fall in love with Adrian. After two damn dates. That wasn’t safe
and it wasn’t fair at all.
A touch on his arm had Dom opening
his eyes again. “You’ll miss the show,” Adrian said, and pulled off his tie.
He stripped the rest of his clothing
off, watching Dom the entire time. Soon that amazing body was exposed once
more, in every mouthwatering detail. It was everything Dom remembered, and so
much more. “You’re fucking hot.”
“Why thank you.” Adrian got his
quirky, wicked grin and picked up a bundle of rope. “And as a reward, I’m going
to tie you up. If it’s too much, tell me and I’ll cut you free.”
“It’s not gonna be too much.”
Adrian shook his head. “You don’t
know that yet.”
But he did. Because ropes didn’t
scare him. The thought of being bound only made his blood hot and his mind
relax. What terrified him was the looming future, his guitar, and how much he’d
have to give up to have everything he wanted.
Adrian tied his right wrist first,
stretching his arm in the process, and it felt so damn good he arched his back.
“Fuck, babe, you do like this, don’t you?”
Dom met Adrian’s stare. “Yeah it’s…”
He huffed out a breath. “It’s like soaring.” Or being onstage. The thrill, the
heat and charge, and the utter security. “I’m safe.” He relaxed into the bed.
“I’m safe here.”
Adrian stroked his arms. “Makes me
want to tie your legs down, too.”
Oh hell, that sent a bolt of
lightning down his body. “Yeah, please.”
“Not tonight. Partly to tease
you—because I love that—but mostly because I think you can hold yourself still
for me.”
A different heat flowed and settled
in his balls and dick. The cuffs might calm him, but a hit of Adrian’s command
sent lust racing into every part. “Fuck.”
For that he got a smirk, and Adrian
stroked himself a few times. “Not quite there yet. But I bet once you’re tied
down and listening to me… I will be.”
“I’m listening.”
Fingers danced up his left arm, and
that too was tied to the headboard. Same warm touch swept over Dom’s lips.
“You’re talking, not listening.”
He couldn’t resist opening his mouth and sucking those fingers in.
Adrian hissed, then grunted. “Your mouth is always trouble.”

Excerpt:
Sex had always been good. But this—this was nothing like
he’d ever experienced. Not in his head or body. And when Dom collapsed onto the
bed, when Adrian released his arms and slid next to him, when those same strong
hands pulled him into an embrace, only then did he realize he was crying.
“Shh. I have you.” Adrian’s kisses were gentle against his
cheeks and forehead.
“Didn’t hurt,” Dom pushed out. Last thing he wanted was for
Adrian to believe he’d gone too far—because he hadn’t—this was just so fucking
overwhelming.
“I know.” Another kiss, this one to his mouth, and slow and
as tender. “It’s okay to feel.”
Dom sighed against Adrian and let those arms and hands and
mouth soothe and comfort him as he fell back down to earth from the best orgasm
in his entire life. Part of him wanted to apologize for being such a mess—but
Adrian didn’t seem to mind. “I guess I did ask to be shattered.”
“Yes, you did.” Fingers traced Dom’s cheeks. “I truly hope
you enjoyed that as much as I did.”
Dom huffed a laugh and stole a kiss of his own from
Adrian’s lips. “It’s never been better than that.”

Synopsis:
There’s no resisting
the thrum of temptation in this male/male rock-star romance from genre-favorite
author Anna Zabo!
Twisted Wishes front man Ray Van Zeller is in one hell of a tight spot. After a heated confrontation with his bandmate goes viral, Ray is hit with a PR nightmare the fledgling band so doesn’t need. But his problems only multiply when they snag a talented new drummer—insufferably sexy Zavier Demos, the high school crush Ray barely survived.
Zavier’s kept a casual eye on Twisted Wishes for years, and lately, he likes what he sees. What he doesn’t like is how out of control Ray seems—something Zavier’s aching to correct after their first pulse-pounding encounter. If Ray’s up for the challenge.
Despite the prospect of a glorious sexual encore, Ray is reluctant to trust Zavier with his band—or his heart. And Zavier has always had big dreams; this gig was supposed to be temporary. Excerpt #2:
They cleaned up for the signing lines—Ray
back in a T-shirt—and managed to get through everyone before midnight. Then it
was back onto the bus and off to Utah. Long trip, but one with a hotel room at
the end and a day off from playing. Even with Ray giving him those long, hooded
looks, Zavier didn’t have much energy left, either to dominate or fuck. Still,
when Ray headed toward the back of the bus, he followed.
Mish and
Dom both had smirks. Zavier rolled his eyes at them, but smiled anyway. He
pulled the privacy curtain closed.
Ray
stood in the space, swaying with the bus, and staring at the couch on which
they’d taken so much pleasure. “I had to ditch the bracelet. It was pretty
disgusting by the time the concert was over.”
“That’s
fine.” Zavier swept a hand over Ray’s back. He felt the shudder when he cupped
Ray’s neck. “Figured that might happen.”
“Hence
string and not leather?” Ray met his gaze. There was a hunger there, a deep,
deep hunger. But none of the other signs that meant Ray was a live wire of lust.
“Exactly.”
He let his hand fall away. “Is there something you want?”
Ray
nodded slowly. “It’s—not sex, though. I’m beat.”
“Ditto.”
“But my
mind won’t stop. I—god. Do you ever get music and words and everything
just—tangled up in there?”
“No, but
other things, yes.” He pulled Ray toward the couch. “Tell me about it.”
Ray sat
and dropped his hands into his head. “The words are easy to get out. I write
them down, even if they’re shitty. But the music—the colors and the shapes and
the lines—I can’t stop seeing them. Feeling them in my blood.” He lifted his
head. “I bet that makes no sense. I’ve tried to tell Mish and Dom, but they
don’t get it.”
“Don’t
worry about it making sense to me.” Zavier focused on Ray, whose gaze shifted
from object to object in the room. “Tell me anyway. I want to know.”
“I…see
music, Zav. Like see it. Shapes and
colors and…” He shrugged. “Been that way forever. I put hues and forms together
on the guitar until they look right.”
Fuck, Ray really had been a musical
prodigy. Hell. Someone should have
noticed. “Synesthesia,” he said.
Ray
nodded. “Yeah. I found out there was a name for it on the internet.” He
laughed. “Was kind of a relief.”
One
Zavier knew well, for different reasons.
“I do
note things down with colored pens and stuff. But sometimes my brain gets so
fucking full.” Ray sighed and
collapsed against the back of the couch. “Would it be weird if I—knelt at your
feet? Like the first time? Not for sex. Not even to submit or whatever it is I
do when I get all out of my head to obey you—but just to be here? With you?”
The
worry there. Warmth spread through Zavier, and his chest ached. “Ray, you can
always kneel like that if you need to. Or we can sit. Whatever you need from
me.” He dropped his hand on Ray’s knee. Kept it there.
Ray
relaxed under his touch. “Told you I was a burden. Just ask Dom.”
“Shush.
I bet Dom would disagree.”
“Oh, he
would, just to spite me.” Ray rolled his head and met Zavier’s gaze. “He’s put
up with my antics for years, but we’re not like this.” He gestured between the
two of them. “He’s not touchy-feely. You like touching me.”
“Like I
said, not entirely altruistic on my part.”
Ray
laughed. “But it’s not always sexual.”
That was
true, too. He pulled Ray’s head down into his lap. “This okay, or do you really
want to kneel on the floor with your forehead on my shoes?”
“Wanna
do both. But this is fine.” Ray’s words were soft, and his body relaxed.
Zavier
stroked his hair. “Tell me what you see.”
“I’m
calling it ‘Dare to Be.’” Then Ray whispered words and colors. Shapes.
Sometimes he spoke so low, Zavier couldn’t hear. He also tapped out a beat on
Zavier’s thigh, one Zavier echoed and improvised with on his back, until Ray
was humming and singing and then slipping into sleep. A continuation of the
song Ray’d been working on before. And now Zavier had the name—one even Mish
and Dom didn’t know. He held on to that like a talisman.
How many years had it been since he’d
had a friend like Ray? One he could sit and be with? He couldn’t remember. Once
sex came into the picture, everyone had always expected more from him. Some great romantic connection. Dinners and presents
and declarations. But Ray didn’t seem to need that and it was a fucking
miracle.

Excerpt:
The clock in Ray’s room read 3:57. He
closed his eyes against the red glow. Fucking hell. He should be dead asleep. He’d burned so much energy, his
body ached from dancing, jumping, and singing. He’d been higher than a kite after
the show.
Zavier
had touched him—not just a friendly pat on the back, but an intimate clasp that
nearly put him on his knees in front of who knew how many fans. Bet that photo was already making the
rounds.
He kinda
wanted to see it. Did Zavier look like Ray remembered—like he might kiss Ray,
like he wanted Ray?
Instead,
Zavier had spoken, his breath a caress against Ray’s ear. You did exactly what I told you to do. I’m very pleased. Very
pleased. He’d never heard those words spoken with the same tone as suck my cock before.
Ray
rolled over and ignored the hardness of his dick. He wouldn’t jack off to
Zavier. Except he already had once tonight. And had on previous nights. Fucking
asshole was stunning and sexy and…not actually an asshole.
Well,
maybe a little, but they all had their edges.
Part of
him wished he could take the risk and get buzzed on liquor; the other part knew
drinking wouldn’t help at all. He was too wired from the concert and should
have crashed hours ago—everyone else had. Dom was sawing wood in the next room,
loud enough Ray was tempted to go in and roll him onto his side to shut him up.
God, the
concert. They’d never sounded so good. He’d never felt that alive with the
music behind him. Once they’d started playing, Ray hadn’t needed to worry.
Hadn’t had to figure out how to cover for mistakes, bad playing, or anything.
The band would nail it, so he’d been free to let go and sing.
Trust.
He trusted the band again. He’d always known Dom and Mish would play their
hearts out, but he’d never known if Kevin would survive the night.
Zavier
not only survived, he’d ruled every beat, from the first to the last.
Ray trusted Zavier.
Zavier believed in Ray.
Ray
grunted, and that sharp, painful sound faded in the room. He had no idea why
Zavier believed in him. He wasn’t anything like Zav. Not as talented, not as
skilled. Yes, he worked hard—but he fucked up so often it wasn’t funny. Sure,
Mish and Dom were on his side, but that was because they’d been together for
years and they’d accepted him, warts, foolishness, and all.
But
Zavier? He had no reason at all to believe in Ray and every reason not to.
Yet he did. Deferred to Ray. Treated
him like an equal. And Ray fucking wanted him, wanted his kiss, his words in
his ear and breath on his neck.
