Pride of the Caribbean, Book 2
Releasing: February 27th
When the full moon rises, your soul will become complete…
Those are the words ominously whispered to Jeremiah Singleton his first day aboard the Pride of the Caribbean—an enchanted cruise ship where paranormals hide in plain sight.
Jeremiah leads a quiet life running an aquarium store. Stepping out of his shell to attend his sister’s wedding aboard the Pride, Jeremiah is delightfully surprised to find himself in a whirlwind romance with a handsome blue-eyed school teacher.
Skip Weaver has always been lucky, so it was no shock when he won a cruise. The one thing Skip hasn't had any luck with though is love. But his streak of bad luck with love could finally be over when he meets Jeremiah.
However, nothing aboard the Pride is ever that simple.
Ancient legends, untapped magic, secrets from the past, and dangerous stalkers are on the itinerary for this tropical getaway. Both men are about to get the surprise of their lives, and all of it might be too much for their shipboard romance to survive.

Exclusive Cover Reveal Excerpt:
For this cruise, he’d packed tongue-in-cheek apparel themed according to each day’s events. For tonight’s It’s A Jungle Out There party, he had a green T-shirt that asked a simple question: Why doesn’t Tarzan have a beard?
He thought it was hilarious, though Jenny told him he should just wear a loincloth and be done with it. But as a science teacher, he liked to make people think.
He took a shower, scrubbing away the sunblock, salty pool water, and sweat from the day. He’d gotten a little color, but he’d been smart and used 30 SPF so he wouldn’t burn and ruin his trip. He made sure to wash all his nooks and crannies twice, just in case Jeremiah thought Skip’s T-shirt was funny enough to rip it off, and fuck him like a man lost in a jungle who hadn’t gotten laid in forever.
Not that it had been forever for Skip, but he’d been in a dry spell since David. He certainly wouldn’t say no to a little jungle luvin’ tonight.
White shorts, leather wrist bracelet, and Sperry flip-flops completed his thought-provoking costume. He picked up his phone and sent Jeremiah a text. Still on for 9?
It didn’t take long for a response to come through. Yes with multiple smiley faces.
Still on edge from his encounter with David, Skip closed his stateroom door behind him and took a good look around. He intended to go watch some of the Tarzan & Jane costume party before meeting Jeremiah. He headed for the elevators, eyes peeled. When he rounded the corner, he drew up short.
“Jeremiah?”
Skip’s jaw dropped.
He’d never seen anything sexier in all of his life.
Jeremiah wore nothing but a skimpy red loincloth.
His toned body was sculpted and tight everywhere, without a stitch of body hair, all those muscles polished like marble. With thighs thick and solid like tree trunks, he must spend a lot of leg days at the gym.
“As I live and breathe,” Skip murmured, pulse pounding and cock swelling.
When he finished ogling Jeremiah, their eyes met and he sucked in another gasp. Though he’d only seen Jeremiah for those initial few minutes, he hadn’t realized his hair was so long and gorgeous. Those rich dark chocolate curls with copper highlights must’ve been pulled back in a ponytail Skip hadn’t noticed. Though he’d never been a fan of long hair, it was positively stunning on Jeremiah. And those dark eyes were so big and wide, Skip could get lost in them for days!
“Hi,” Jeremiah said, voice low and husky. “You’re handsome.”
Skip blushed and looked down, not surprised by the full-on bulge in the front of his shorts. He hadn’t experienced such an insta-lust reaction to another man in a very long time.
Jeremiah’s gaze dropped to Skip’s erection.
And then that loincloth started to move too.
In two steps, Jeremiah stood before him, a solid wall of warm muscle mere inches away. Skip sucked in a gasp and took a step back. To his shock, Jeremiah pursued until he pressed Skip against the wall, the sculpted planes of his bare body tight against him. He smelled salty, like he’d been in the pool, but musky and manly too.
“Oh Lordy,” Skip breathed. Who knew his panicked date could be so assertive?
Jeremiah’s predatory expression sent a shockwave of desire through Skip’s body. Those big luminous eyes studied Skip’s mouth, glancing up once as if asking permission, or telling Skip he intended to kiss him, he couldn’t be sure. Either way, he was about to be kissed, and he had no intention of protesting.
Then without hesitation, Jeremiah descended.
Skip let out a tiny whimper as a powerful tongue drove possessively into his mouth. His hands came up and held onto those hairless pectorals. He tipped his head to the side, trying to match Jeremiah’s fervor. His cock hardened to full mast, the powerful surge startling another gasp out of him. As if they had a mind of their own, his hips began to grind into Jeremiah’s thigh.
Jeremiah pulled back, pressing their foreheads together. “Wanna rub?”
Skip smiled and shook his head in confusion. “Rub?”
And then he had his answer when that bulge beneath Jeremiah’s loincloth thrust against his stomach several times. “Rub,” he repeated, sounding hungry and earnest.
Skip let out a breathless chuckle. “Oh Lordy,” he said, his mind a whirl of confusion and shock. “You mean do I wanna fuck?”
Jeremiah tipped his head to the side with a puzzled expression. “Fuck?” he said very slowly and then repeated it. “Fuck. Yes. Wanna fuck?”
“Well,” he said breathlessly. “I thought we could get a drink and get to know each other first, but seein’ as—” he trailed suddenly shaky hands down Jeremiah’s thick, bare arms “—you’re already almost naked. We could talk over drinks afterward.”
Jeremiah nodded and smiled. “Fuck,” he said again at the same time he thrust a huge erection into Skip’s stomach.
He shuddered at the thought of being penetrated by something so big, and he wasn’t sure if he was up for it—but Daddy didn’t raise no quitter!
I’ll make that thing fit if it takes all the lube aboard this ship!
Voices down the hall caused Jeremiah to flinch and jump away.
“I saw him get off on this floor. Hurry, he couldn’t have gone far!” a man called out.
Jeremiah stepped back, chewing his lower lip and looking around nervously.
Skip adjusted his hard-on, worried about exposure if someone came around the corner.
“Must go,” Jeremiah said, turning to leave.
“Wait!” Skip cried. “You’re just gonna kiss me like that, and leave me like this?” Incredulous, he gestured down to the bulge in his shorts.
“Must go,” he said again, his eyes so wide it was almost comical.
“Will I see you later?”
Jeremiah nodded. “Yes, later.”
And then he took off in a full sprint down the hallway, barefoot and hair flying behind him like Tarzan running through the jungle. Before Skip could wrap his head around what had just happened, two crewmembers rounded the corner and drew up short.
“Excuse me, sir,” one said polite politely. It was dark-haired Kevin from the towel hut. “Did you happen to see a tall muscular man wearing red table napkins as a loincloth?”
If Skip had not just seen Jeremiah and been kissed by him—maybe his loincloth did resemble cloth napkins—the question would’ve been absurd.
Skip hesitated. “Why?”
What did the crew want with Jeremiah? Maybe he’d gone to the party naked, and then made a loincloth from napkins? The cruise was family-friendly, no nudity permitted, but maybe Jeremiah hadn’t realized.
Jeremiah hadn’t struck Skip as the party-animal type, but a few cocktails could bring out a man’s wild side.
“You did see him,” the other person said knowingly.
“Which way did he go?” Kevin demanded, his too-dark eyes narrowed.
Skip didn’t know why he did it, but he pointed down the hallway. “He ran that way. I’m sure you can catch up to him if you hurry.”
Kevin and the other crewman took in the opposite direction Jeremiah had gone.
Stunned, Skip stood there, shaking his head. He’d pegged Jeremiah as calm and subdued, imagining he’d have to be the pursuer.
Boy, did Skip read that one wrong.
