“Turn around.” Dylan’s low voice echoed in the bathroom.

He did as instructed, skin goose bumping in the chill air. Thick fingers touched either side of his torso and gently pressed down into his lower back. “Does it hurt?”

He shook his head.

“Turn back around.”

He faced the front and watched as Dylan moved large hands over his torso, gentle but firm. He pressed a little more on the right hand side. “What about here? Hurt at all?”

“No.” He exhaled a shaky breath. No matter how much he told his dick not to take interest in the proceedings, he became more and more aroused at every touch.

Then Dylan did something so strange it snapped him out of his fog of desire. The man leaned in towards Aeron and sniffed him.

“Jesus.” Aeron took a step back, butting up against the sink behind him. “Did you just smell me?”

Wicked Faerie's - Introduce us to characters from a work in progress.

I’d like to introduce you to Jason and Scott. They are from a current WIP – one I am working on editing, and rewriting. I love these two, even though writing them was pretty difficult in places.

Scott is a university lecturer. He teaches students on the adult education teacher training course in Harrogate. His life seems on the surface fairly well ordered and ordinary. But he’s had a horrendous couple of years. Something he doesn’t quite realize fully. His couple of years from hell culminated with him being beaten up by a group of drunk men in the town center leaving him with anxiety issues.

Jason is an ex-Royal Marine. A tough, no nonsense man who has now left the military and is trying to piece his life back together. He suffers from some combat stress.

They meet in one of Scott’s classes and at first do not like one another, but there’s an attraction there. Their story took a lot of research into PTSD. Luckily I have two friends who are psychologists who deal with anxiety and trauma and so I asked their advice. And did a whole lot of reading. As someone who suffers from anxiety myself, I wanted to explore characters who were trying to overcome these types of issues. I just hope I’ve done them justice.
