Strays by Garrett Leigh - Blog Tour with Author Interview and Giveaway

About Strays

Work, sleep, work, repeat. Nero’s lonely life suits him just fine until his best friend, Cass, asks him to take on a new apprentice—a beautiful young man who’s never set foot in a professional kitchen. Despite his irritation and his lifelong ability to shut the world out, Nero is mesmerised by the vibrant stray, especially when he learns what drove him to seek sanctuary on Nero’s battered old couch.

Lenny Mitchell is living under a cloud of fear. Pursued by a stalker, he has nowhere left to run until Nero offers him a port in a storm—a job at the hottest restaurant in Shepherd's Bush. Kitchen life proves heady and addictive, and it’s not long before he finds himself falling hard and fast for the man who has taken him in.

Fast-forward a month and neither man can imagine life without the other, but one thing stands in their way: a lifetime of horrors Nero can’t bring himself to share with Lenny. Or can he? For the first time ever, happiness is there for the taking, and Nero must learn to embrace it before fate steps in and rips it away.

Wicked Faerie's - Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you're currently working on.

Garrett Leigh - I’m currently working on edits for three books. After that, for the first time in ages, I actually have no idea what to write next. Readers…any ideas?

WF - What started you on your writing journey?

GL - I honestly have no idea. I woke up like this.

WF -  Is there a genre you haven't written in but want to? What genre would that be?

GL - I have the first chapter of some lesbian erotica languishing on my hard drive. I’ll write the second one day.

WF - When you're working on a WIP do you work with an outline or does the story drive itself as your creating it? Does it change from book to book?

GL - I write a loose outline, then disregard it entirely. I’ve tried to behave, but it never happens.

WF -  Which of your couples or poly partners are your favorite and why?

GL - Pete and Ash will be my favourites forever because they’ve overcome so much, bit my Misfits boys are pretty special too. Cass is my totem character.

WF -  What one story of yours would you want to revisit for an update on the characters and their lives?

GL - Definitely Pete and Ash. I’d love to know how they’re doing.
