Finally going from fake boyfriends to the real thing, Spencer Cohen and Andrew Landon are trying to take things slow. They know what they have could be something special and despite the flammable sexual tension, they don’t want to crash and burn.
Spencer is learning to open up and share the secrets of his past with Andrew. Afraid to put his heart on the line but unable to stop himself, Spencer knows he’s falling in love. Andrew is petrified of leaping in blindly, yet the slower they go, the faster they fall.
As they navigate their new relationship, Spencer worries Andrew will freak out when he takes on a new client. But it’s not a normal case, and Spencer soon realises all is not what it seems. When the job takes a downward turn, Spencer and Andrew work together to help the client. They’ll need to decide if they’re ready for the next step.

“All I can say up is that N.R. Walker is a genius! 5 stars are not nearly enough to describe the perfection of this book.” ~ Federica Lemme (Goodreads Review)
5 out of 5 stars
How is it possible that this book was even better than the first book? If you read my review of book 1, you know that I absolutely loved it to pieces. I did not expect the second book to totally top the first book. Usually most series the second book tends to be a bit of filler, still a good story but by no means do they top the first book. HA!! This one proved that formula wrong. Since book 2 picks up directly where book 1 left off these books must be read in order.
Spencer and Andrew are no longer pretending to be boyfriends, they're exploring that word for real. They're also exploring each other, getting to know all the little details and favorites that happen as you date. While their set on taking things slowly, they are both so enamored of the other that things end up happening faster that they're ready for them to happen. While I could absolutely go on about the little details of the plot and things that they say and do, this is the kind of book you need to read and experience as it happens.
There is a lot of emotions, feelings, and an absolute enormous amount of character growth that occurs through this story. Seeing both Andrew and Spencer have those OMG or A-HA moments throughout the book is one of the things that makes this series so good. Plus both Andrew and Spencer are so real, they make mistakes, have flaws that they don't like, and they both work to move through their flaws and issues.
I have to say the author keeps you on a knife's edge of sexual tension with Andrew and Spencer. They decide that they're going to wait to have sex to give themselves time to get to know each others. Well let's just say that there are a million and one ways, if not more, that these two can turn each other on without full on sex. Between the sexual tension, and the hot teases between them you'll need a fan to cool off!! For me, this was just another added, even bonus layer to the characters and the storyline.
I loved this book so hard that I had to stop myself from immediately re-reading it once I finished it. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us with the third book in the series! I highly recommend this series for anyone that enjoys Riley Hart, Felice Stevens, and Kade Boehme.
N.R. Walker is an Australian author, who loves her genre of gay romance.
She loves writing and spends far too much time doing it, but wouldn’t have it any other way.
She is many things: a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who live in her head, who don’t let her sleep at night unless she gives them life with words.
She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things… but likes it even more when they fall in love.
She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.
She’s been writing ever since…
